Our nurses are trained to provide advice on weight, dental hygiene, deworming, flea and tick treatments and much much more. This service is free of charge unless otherwise stated.

Specialist Eye Care
Comprehensive ophthalmology examinations and advanced medical and surgical eye care by our local vet eye specialist

Inpatient care
If your pet requires inpatient care, they will be settled into their own kennel at the clinic. Vet nurses will be caring for your pet continuously under the supervision of the attending vet.

Routine and non-routine surgeries are performed every week. We take great care of your pets before, during and after every surgery, ensuring they receive the care they need.

We provide comprehensive blood tests, urine tests, microscopy investigations, blood pressure monitoring, full ophthalmic examinations, ultrasound and xray services.

At Animal Medical Centre, we understand that pets are cherished members of the family. Since opening our doors in 2019, we have been committed to providing compassionate, personalised veterinary care built on trust, communication and a genuine understanding of every pet and owner.
From preventative healthcare to more complex medical and surgical cases, our dedicated team provides high-quality care in a welcoming and supportive environment. We continually develop our knowledge, skills and facilities, with particular interests in ophthalmology, neurology, surgery and Fear Free, cat-friendly care.
When a case requires expertise or procedures beyond our facilities, we work closely with trusted specialists and referral centres, including internationally. Most importantly, we take the time to listen, understand each pet as an individual and help owners make informed decisions about their care.

Doctors & Nurses
Dr Daphne Royston
I have dreamed of becoming a vet since childhood and hold a GPCert in Ophthalmology, reflecting my special interest in advanced veterinary eye care. Outside the clinic, I love spending time with my husband, our two children and two dogs, travelling and returning to Africa—a place very close to my heart.
Dr Violet Azzopardi
I have a particular soft spot for cats, with special interests in feline medicine, internal medicine and neurology. Outside of work, you'll usually find me planning my next adventure, getting lost in a good book, or convincing myself that I definitely don't need to adopt another cat... until the next one comes along.
Dr Visnja Senic
I graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine in Vienna and am committed to making every visit comfortable and reassuring. My interests include internal medicine, emergency and critical care, diagnostic imaging, soft-tissue surgery and dentistry. Languages: English, German, Bosnian/Serbian/Croatian, Maltese.
Head Nurse Shania
As Head Veterinary Nurse, I am passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care for every patient and supporting pet owners throughout their pets’ health journey. I enjoy leading our nursing team and helping ensure the highest standards of care in our practice.

I am a veterinary nurse from Ireland. I moved to Malta for the sunshine. I love exploring and trying new hobbies and activities. My favourite thing about nursing is making sure patients feel comfortable and safe while in clinic.
Nurse Laura
I am a Vet Nurse with a lifelong passion for animals and their wellbeing. Caring for animals has always been my dream, and I feel incredibly grateful to do what I love at Animal Medical Centre. I have a special soft spot for German Shepherds, but I love caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. My goal is to continue learning and one day fulfil my dream of becoming a veterinarian.
