What people say about us
Great service with a smile for our tiny Chihuahua.

Excellent Vet - Very dedicated and extremely caring - and the fact that Dr Daphne does house visits is a real bonus for me 🙂 Truly recommend

I've worked many times with Dr Straface and she is one of the best Vets I have ever had the pleasure to work with. I would trust her 100% with my pets

Gave us great advice when we took in a tiny stray kitten, we also have 2 older cats, we followed the advice and waited to get him checked over. Daphne made a house call. Now we have 3 happy healthy animals who enjoy each other's company.

Doctors & Nurses

Dr Daphne Royston
DVM, MRCVS
Daphne knew she wanted to become a vet after watching Dr DoLittle in grade 4 and hasn’t looked back since. Besides her obvious love for animals, she has developed a passion for Africa ever since she did a Wild Vet course in South Africa in 2010.
She went back to Africa (namely Botswana and Zimbabwe) to work, and lived there for a short while, after she met her (now) husband Peter, who is from Zimbabwe. They have both moved back to Malta just over two years ago and adopted two (super) adorable puppies from animal welfare, Otto and Sadie.

Dr Anthony Cassar Aveta
DVM
When Anthony learned what a veterinarian was as a child, he was certain no other career would be as fulfilling.
He developed a passion to help all creatures, with no distinction between fur, feathers, scales or spines. He graduated as a Veterinarian in Sicily and has since been furthering his studies in non-conventional and exotic pets.
He loves nature and the outdoors, and has just adopted a baby rabbit called Eddie!

Shania
Nurse
Shania has loved animals ever since she was a little girl, so when it came time to choosing a career path, veterinary nursing was an easy choice.
She studied at MCAST for a number of years and is now furthering her studies in puppy socialisation and cytology among other things. She is a cat-lover, but her heart has been stolen by her little Jack Russel Terrier named Jack!

Rachel
Nurse
Caring for animals has been Rachel’s passion since she was young, when she would help her grandfather on his farm.
Rachel has been working in the veterinary field for the past 4 years helping fur babies and their parents and in fact went to MCAST to become a veterinary nurse. She has a particular interest in pet nutrition and manages a Weight Clinic here at AMC.
